Fathers Day Video Interviews
An interview with my kids for Father’s Day.
I recently saw a video promoting a great idea for Mother’s Day. It was recording your children answering questions about mom. It sounds pretty simple and cute but given that children grow so quickly, I felt that these recordings make valuable investments. Imagine your children well into adulthood perhaps having children of their own and then watching a video of them when they are 5, 8, 10. You see those little faces again, their little movements, and hear those sweet voices. It may be something that seems small now but will hit deep as time goes by. To me, that is the power of motion picture.
I decided to do this for Father’s Day. Once I finished editing, my patience waned. I was so excited to show my husband this video. So I sat him on the couch, connected my phone to our television, and hit play. I have never seen so much emotion on his face. He said it was the best Father’s Day present he has ever received. I could have done all of this on my phone but I wanted quality picture and clarity in the audio. So I’m glad I took this project into a professional light with my professional equipment.
My apologies, for there may be a lot of inside jokes that no one else will understand the humor of. But my husband does and it means the world to him. Happy early Father’s Day, David!
